To be a Microsoft MVP you need to be active in the community. One way of doing this is speaking at conferences or attending and being active on other events like the MVP Global Summit.

Every year Microsoft MVP’s are invited at the Microsoft Headquarters to spend a week with the Product Groups who are creating the software or devices which are used on a daily based by us and our customers. A week full of opportunities to learn about the roadmaps, learn about the new features and provide feedback, all covered under our NDA with Microsoft. This year I will be joining the MVP Global Summit in Redmond for the 8th time in a row.
